On Progress - Expectation vs Reality:

The voice of apathy & excuses gets loudest before you make a change…it wants you to stay the same…to start next week. To slowly d r i f t away.

In my coaching program we talk about two major mindset themes -

The Negative Mindset LOOP
&
The Champion’s Mindset PATH.

The reason the Negative Mindset Loop is so dangerous - is a loop keeps you stuck…repeating what doesn’t work anymore

Stuck in old habits, patterns, routines, & beliefs…

And what I’ve found is that so many people who want to change are stuck on that loop…

Because it’s the only tool we have. And it used to work, but now we’re in Ground Hogs Day, not getting ready for Spring

What we want to be on is a PATH.

The Path means you’re moving TOWARDS your goals - and since we are adults, we know progress isn’t linear.

It means you are back in the game, being accountable, & on the PATH to make progress.

To be better than yesterday, & maybe in a whole new way.

Because one thing I know about anyone who is a high achiever & wants more out of life…

It’s seeing what you are made of - what you can accomplish - what more is ahead…

This is what keeps the fire burning.

Not being stuck. Not hoping maybe you’ll wake up & it will magically click someday. 🤦‍♀️

So if you want to make progress - you’ve got to get unstuck & take ACTION.

Action is the difference between talking about it, and actually being about it.

And anyone who has an inner champion, can remember a time they took action - they were unsure but they bet on themselves - even when that false voice got so, so loud.

Things were never the same for them again.

And I want that for you, too.

It’s time to get unstuck. It’s time to thrive. It’s time to pass on the best part of yourself to those you love - and that doesn’t happen if you’re on that LOOP.
