Yes, those 3 things are connected, and they actually matter to you.

But you say, "well Tim, I'm not an Olympic Silver Medalist & competing in the 2024 Olympics like your new athlete Razak Alfaga from Niger...

...so how does wearable fitness technology and upcoming Spring Break & vacations effect ME?"

Well, first off, thank you for asking ;)

When you're training A LOT, it usually means that your life ideally has less 'stress' in it,
so that way you can take in an enormous amount of physical stress...and still adapt.

==>remember, the goal is adaptation, not volume!


So for Razak - knowing his amount and quality of sleep, how much [or little] he is moving in a day, and his heart rate through out training and at rest become HUGE indicators or his ability to recover, & ultimately, adapt.

  • And using my coaching program's newest integrations with Apple Health/watch, Garmin, Fitbit, Google Health, Oura, & more - now I can see exactly how he's doing no matter where in the world he is!



But - this concept works for anyone who wants to get in & stay in amazing shape,even if you aren't a 'full time professional athlete' but want to Rebuild your own Athletic Body this Spring!


If our body's can only adapt & progress from the stress that we can handle...

  • Wouldn't it be beneficial for me to know exactly how you're sleeping


[so I can see if your body is getting the right recovery hormones being released,
or just more of our stress hormone cortisol in the part of our sleep cycle where we are constantly waking up]


  • Wouldn't it make sense to know exactly how much you are moving in a day

[so I can make sure that you are burning fat properly, and can adjust training & nutrition to match so you aren't running just on cortisol &caffeine?]

  • And wouldn't it make sense that I can see how your heart & heart rate are affected both during workouts AND at rest,


[so we can tell if you are in a 'rest & digest' parasympathetic state, or too elevated too long in the 'fight or flight' sympathetic state...
...&
adjust your protocol to push you harder or pull you back so your body begins to work with you, & not against you]
